NIU’s Presidential Commission on the Status of Women is seeking nominations for the 2012 Outstanding Women Awards.
The awards are intended to:
- encourage the full participation of women students in all facets of the university experience and in their communities;
- support their development of corresponding strengths, both cooperative and competitive; and
- celebrate their achievements and contributions, including those not usually recognized by other award programs.
All women with a graduation date during the 2012 calendar year (May, August, December) are eligible. Nominations are accepted electronically.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, Dec. 16.
