Howard Brady
Howard Brady, who earned a master’s degree in geology from NIU in 1977, will speak on campus at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, on “The Scientist in Two Worlds.”
The speech takes place in DuSable Hall 308. All are invited.
Brady is one of the 2011 College of Liberal Arts & Science Distinguished Alumni. He will be introduced by Peter-Noel Webb of Ohio State University, who was chair of the NIU Department of Geology from 1973 to 1980.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Geology and Environmental Geosciences and the Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability and Energy.
