Rock the Runway: DRAG fashion show supports awareness of breast cancer, domestic violence

DRAG: Diversity Respects All GendersIn support of national months to promote awareness and prevention of breast cancer and domestic violence, the Fine Arts Committee of the NIU Campus Activities Board will host a D.R.A.G. fashion show.

D.R.A.G., which stands for Diversity Respects All Genders, is also part of the LGBTQ History Month calendar.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center. It is free and open to the public.

The evening spotlight NIU students “rocking the runway,” a celebrity performance by Sherry Vine and a special skit performed by students in the NIU School of Theatre and Dance.
