NIU’s Presidential Commission on Persons with Disabilities will sponsor a screening of “Tony: Lose All, Gain Everything” by Invisible Children.
Invisible Children is a social, political, and global movement that uses the transformative power of story to change lives. The documentary tells a story about the hardships faced by children in the war in northern Uganda.
Peter King, a pastor from Uganda, will provide his personal insights and answer questions following the screening.
The event is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the Wirtz Hall auditorium. Admission is free.
