Graduate, professional school fairs planned

NIU chemistry studentsThe NIU Graduate and Professional School Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center.

Representatives from more than 50 graduate and professional programs throughout the United States will be available to provide information and materials regarding their specific programs.

This event is open to the public and admission is free. No pre-registration or dress code is required.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Graduate and Professional School Fair is scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Rd. This annual event is co-sponsored by 26 Chicago-area universities and colleges.

Representatives from more than 225 graduate and professional programs throughout the United States will be available to provide information and materials regarding their specific programs. Last year, more than 1,100 attendees spoke with recruiters about programs in medicine, nursing, social work, business, law and many other master’s and PhD degrees.
