NIU’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center has announced the re-launch of the online peer support program Q-Connect.
The Q-Connect program is for students who have questions about sexual and/or gender identity. All online interactions with trained mentors are anonymous, and users are able to ask questions related to LGBT topics.
The program launch for the year is from 9 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Throughout the semester, the program will be available weekly from 9 to 11 p.m. Tuesdays and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, continuing throughout the rest of the year. More information is available on the LGBT Resource Center website.
