NIU’s Heating Plant will have a planned steam outage beginning at 11 p.m. Sunday, May 15, and ending at 3 p.m. Friday, May 20, for maintenance on the high pressure steam piping and its associated equipment.
The following buildings will be affected and will not have any domestic hot water or heat:

- Dorland Building
- Douglas Hall
- DuSable Hall
- Gabel Hall
- Graham Hall
- Grant Towers
- Huskie Stadium
- Lincoln Hall
- Neptune complex
- Physical Plant
- Reavis Hall
- Student Recreation Center
- Watson Hall
- West Heating Plant
- Yordon Center
- Zulauf Hall
