Northern Illinois University will host the 2011 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Thursday, May 12, through Saturday, May 14, at the NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
Doors open to the public at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 12; the meet begins at 10 a.m. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14; the meet begins at 11 a.m. those days. The full schedule is available online.
Per-day ticket prices are $10 for adults and$5 for youth and students. All-session passes are $25 for adults and $10 for youth and students.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets at the gate each day. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the facility. Concession stands will be available. Fans will be allowed to bring lawn chairs and umbrellas into the facility.
Convocation Center Lot C2 will be open for parking Thursday, May 12, and Friday, May 13, as will lots P and PS.
However, because of the Saturday, May 14, commecement ceremonies, Lot C2 will be closed to spectator parking that day. Lots P and PS will be closed to spectator parking from 7 to 10 a.m. that day but available thereafter. Lots 24 and 25 at the Water Tower/Human Resources area will be open for spectator parking as will Lot 33. Lot K will also be available for spectator parking with access from Lincoln Highway.
