Open forums begin Wednesday for vice provost

The vice provost is responsible for the undergraduate curriculum, retention, teacher certification associated with five colleges, and other areas related to the undergraduate academic mission. The vice provost reports to the executive vice president and provost, who has responsibility for the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. The vice provost collaborates with the vice provost for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management on matters of mutual interest.

The vice provost has oversight authority for Registration and Records, the Office of Student Academic Success, the Office of Student Engagement, Testing Services, Teacher Certification, the Academic Advising Center, Educational Services and Programs (CHANCE, ACCESS, Student Support Services, and Upward Bound), Student Athlete Support Services (SASS), Center for Black Studies, and the University Honors Program. The vice provost oversees the undergraduate academic program.
