EVENT POSTPONED: NIU Trustee Cherilyn Murer to speak at Alumni Association’s Chicago Speaker Series

The NIU Alumni Association‘s Chicago Speaker Series is back.

The tradition continues from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, with a presentation on the dynamic changes happening to health care. Join NIU alumni and friends to welcome NIU Trustee Cherilyn G. Murer as the speaker for the evening.

A distinguished alumna and author, Murer is president and CEO of Murer Consultants, Inc. She is a sought-after lecturer and educator whose focus is on assisting her clients navigate the complex regulatory, strategic and financial issues facing health care today.

The series seeks to provide learning and networking opportunities to NIU alumni and friends by bringing a variety of engaging presentations to the heart of downtown Chicago. Along with a full appetizer buffet provided by Goose Island, guests can enjoy a cash bar and the company of colleagues.

The Chicago Speaker Series is held at the NIU Chicago Office, located at 33 N. LaSalle St., Suite 1700, on the last Thursday of each month. Upcoming sessions are planned for March 31, April 28, May 26 and June 3. Details are forthcoming.

The cost is $15 per person, or free for Cardinal & Black and Legacy members of the Alumni Association.
