Regional History Fair seeks volunteer judges

The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences External Programming will host the 2011 Northern Illinois Regional History Fair Saturday, Feb. 26, in the Holmes Student Center.

Seal of the State of IllinoisThe history fair provides a venue for junior high and high school students to test their merits as scholars while exploring local history.

Volunteers are needed to judge the students’ projects, which are judged in three categories: display exhibits, visual media (such as a short documentary or slideshow) and performances (such as a short play).

Volunteer judges need to arrive at the Duke Ellington Ballroom in the Holmes Student Center by 8:45 a.m. for judges’ orientation and instructions. All judging duties will be finished by 1:30 p.m.
