After a six-year hiatus from DeKalb, “The 3 Celli” will return at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, for an evening of special music to benefit the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
Members of The 3 Celli are Linc Smelser, a cellist with the Grant Park Symphony; Steve Balderston, formerly a cellist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and currently a full-time professor of cello at DePaul University; and Brant Taylor, a cellist with the CSO.
Presented by the Kishwaukee Symphony Associates, “An Evening with The 3 Celli” concert will be held in the DeKalb home of Ron and Nancy Proesel and a dessert buffet will be served.
Tickets are $50 per person; RSVP by Saturday, Feb. 5. Space is limited.
