NIU’s Art Museum is ready to help teens and adults to revitalize their wardrobes and have fun doing it.
Artist Erin Coleman-Cruz will lead a “Clothing Rebirth Workshop” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in Room 211 of the Stevens Building.
Participants will learn how to customize or revitalize their clothing by mending, embellishing and accessorizing while upcycling old clothing and linens, leaving with plenty of ideas on updating their closets from within their own closets.
Supplies are provided, but it is suggested that participants bring and work with their own clothing items.
