Tickets are now on sale for the annual Northern Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, which will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom of NIU’s Holmes Student Center.
Open to all, tickets to the banquet are $50 each or $35 for past inductees. The historic night will begin with a social hour, followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m.

After breaking a streak of 23 consecutive years as the banquet’s emcee to be inducted himself last year, Bill Baker (Huskie Radio Network) will return to the mic.
During the evening, fans will have the opportunity to meet and honor the 2010 inductees: T.J. Lux (men’s basketball, 1995-2000), Jay Graziano (baseball, 1974-75), Tom O’Neill (baseball, 1966-68, NCAA basketball official, 1977-present), Martha Unger (Grace) (women’s gymnastics, 1987-91) and the 1978-79 men’s gymnastics team.
The induction of the Huskies’ 29th Hall of Fame class coincides with NIU football’s “Hall of Fame Weekend/Varsity Club Day” as the team faces Central Michigan at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
At halftime of the contest, the newly enshrined Huskie Hall of Famers will be honored on the field. Tickets to the game can be ordered online on NIUHuskies.com or by calling the NIU Athletics Ticket Office at (815) 752-6800.
