Registration is now open for 28 Graduate Career and Professional Development workshops scheduled for the fall semester. Information on the events and a link for online registration can be found at go.niu.edu/gradworkshops. Advanced registration is required.
Workshops are free and open to all NIU graduate students. They also reflect a partnership with five different units on campus: Career Services, Jobs PLUS, International Student and Faculty Office, NIU Writing Center, and the Office of Research Compliance, Integrity and Safety.
Faculty are asked to share the workshop link with their masters and doctoral students and to encourage participation. A wide range of themed-topics will be covered, including enhancing a grad student’s communication, leadership/management, professionalism, responsible conduct of research and career development. Workshops will be hands-on to assist graduate students in exploring and enhancing their career development pathway.
