Don’t Miss the 5th Annual Halfway There Celebration, April 26

April 19, 2017

Calling all sophomores! First- and Second-Year Experience and Housing and Residential Services will be hosting the fifth annual Halfway There celebration. Sophomores are invited to come celebrate being halfway through their college career on April 26 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the MLK Commons!

Students will have the opportunity to enjoy games, food, music, a photo booth and more! Additionally, sophomores can earn a special gift by visiting resource tables at the event. These resource tables will help students plan for next fall by taking care of essentials including figuring out housing, meal plans and help with registering for classes. Students can also find out how to enhance their college experience through new opportunities in and out of the classroom! Learn about resources from Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning, Career Services, Academic Advising Center, University Honors, Study Abroad, Jobs PLUS and Residence Hall Association.

The Halfway There event is Honors Engaged and Business Passport approved. Students seeking credit must complete the campus resource activity mentioned above.

Students can kick off Halfway There celebrations early by visiting their college department advising offices, which will be decorated throughout the week! Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their advisors and register for Fall 2017 courses now!
