The Office of Affirmative Action and Equity Compliance will host the “OK or NO WAY! – There are no blurred lines for consent” event on Tuesday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m. in the New Hall Swing Space.
This event is meant to inspire students to have conversations around the topic of consent. During the activity, students will be divided into groups and view short videos focused on varying aspects of relationships. They will then discuss why what was portrayed is an OK or a NO WAY as it relates to consent and positive, healthy relationships. The goal is to involve students in viewing consent from many different angles to develop a better understanding of why consent is important and necessary.
For more information on the event, contact the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost at 815-753-1118 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
