In collaboration with Common Reading Experience Student Organization (CRESO) and First- and Second-Year Experience (FSYE), Lambda Sigma is collecting children’s books to donate to the Storybook Project, a national effort to provide a connection between incarcerated parents and their children.
Donated books will be sent to imprisoned parents and they will record themselves reading the book. The recording and the book will then be sent to their child.
If you would like to donate, please bring your books to Altgeld Hall in Room 100 by the end of February. Books will be collected from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Feb. 28.
