The Financial Cents Peer Educator Program is designed to improve the financial wellness of NIU students and the local community. A variety of resources are made available to participants to empower them to make informed financial decisions and to help them understand how those decisions impact their future.
We offer peer-to-peer presentations on topics such as budgeting, salary negotiation, buying a car, eating healthy on a budget, affording grad school and much more. In the past, we have presented in numerous UNIV 101 and 201 courses and other courses on campus, as well as for sororities, fraternities, clubs and organizations.
