Leadership Academy invites new members

August 20, 2015

Student AssociationDo you want to become an involved student leader? Would you like the opportunity to improve your leadership skills?

If so, enroll in Student Involvement & Leadership Development’s (SILD) Leadership Academy.

NIU’s Leadership Academy is a three-tiered, self-paced leadership program – you can complete the activities as your schedule allows – that includes Personal Leadership, Campus & Community Leadership and Leadership Culmination tiers.

Through the Leadership Academy, students have the opportunity to join organizations, attend workshops, write reflections, participate in community service, become a mentor and much more.

And, not only is it fun, but it looks great on a resume! Leadership Academy applications are available online.

The Leadership Academy also hosts various workshops each semester. Students currently in the Leadership Academy and students who have not yet joined are encouraged to attend these workshops.

All are held in Room 100 of the Campus Life Building.
