Interfaith Youth Core logoAs part of NIU’s contractual agreement with the Interfaith Youth Core in 2014-2015, the university will host staff members of the IFYC staff on campus Monday, April 27.

A session from 10 to 11 a.m. in Altgeld Hall Room 315 will provide outcomes of the Campus Religious and Spirituality Climate Survey taken by a representative sample of NIU students last fall.

The CRSCS is an assessment tool is administered by the IFYC in partnership with Alyssa Rockenbach (North Carolina State University) and Matthew Mayhew (New York University). The instrument is an assessment tool designed to assist campus leaders in navigating the challenges and possibilities that religious and worldview diversity bring to higher education institutions.

Staff of the IFYC will be on hand to interpret responses of NIU students and compare them to national norms developed from administering the survey to a sample of approximately 15,000 students across the nation. Additionally, there will be time set aside for discussing the implications of the data for our campus and its students.

This session is open to all. For more information, call (815) 753-0028 or email dgaray@niu.edu.
