Campus Internet access restored

200x200-enews[1]A recently installed firewall appliance caused a campus-wide Internet outage around 7:15 a.m. Monday, leaving students and employees without access to the World Wide Web for part of the day.

Network service was restored just before noon by implementing a workaround, allowing Internet access for all users. The university is working with the vendor to ensure proper resolution to the issue.
