Your AccountID expires 210 days after your retirement date or Feb. 2, 2015, whichever comes later. Your AccountID gives you access to MyNIU for your W-2.

- Request a GroupWise retiree mailbox: Though this could change in the future, currently retirees get GroupWise retiree mailboxes. It is free for one year after retirement date. After that, the annual renewal of the GroupWise retiree mailbox requires membership in the NIU Annuitants Association. Go to Retiree Email to request a GroupWise Retiree Account, swap your email alias, copy your work address books, forward mail to your retiree mailbox and get your retiree email, calendars and contacts on your mobile device.
- Your work mailbox: Your work mailbox will be disabled 180 days after retirement or Jan. 2, 2015, whichever comes later. Your work mailbox content, including mail, appointments, tasks, notes, proxy access, resource mailbox ownership and address books, will not transfer to your GroupWise retiree mailbox.
