Pagán joins Hospital Sisters leadership team

HSHS_Logo_Horiz[1]Northern Illinois University alumna Evelyn Pagán was recently named chief performance improvement officer at Hospital Sisters Health System-Western Division in Eau Claire, Wisc. In this capacity, she serves both Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Pagán most recently served as vice president of quality and performance measurement at Rockford Health System in Rockford, Ill. Throughout her extensive nursing career, Pagan has worked from being a nurse on an orthopedic surgical unit to serving as the director of a critical care unit at several Chicagoland health systems.

Pagán earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from NIU in 1982 before earning her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in health care management in 2004.

Pagán achieved LEAN specialist certification in 2010. She is a certified professional in health care quality and patient safety and also is bilingual in English and Spanish.
