Matt Christensen
Matt Christensen, a graduate of the Northern Illinois University MBA program, has been appointed director of North America Sales and Marketing at Concentric Rockford Inc. (formerly Haldex Hydraulics).
Christensen, 39, began his career at Rockford in 1998, when the company was known as John S. Barnes, rising to become engineering manager. In 2006, he left the company to join Komax Systems, acquiring valuable experience as program manager for automation equipment used in the medical, electronics and automotive industries. He rejoined Concentric in 2008 as an OEM account manager, eventually taking charge of a sales force of account managers and applications engineers, serving customers across North and South America.
Rockford is home to one of two major manufacturing plants for Concentric Hydraulics, the other being located in Hof, Germany. The company’s product range includes hydraulic pumps, motors, power packs, flow dividers and other products supplied to leading OEMs for lift trucks, agricultural equipment, transmissions, mining, construction and road-building machinery. These products can be applied in cooling fans, axle cooling systems, rotary drives, electro-hydraulic lifts, transmission clutch actuation, lubrication, auxiliary brake and steering systems.
