The latest edition of Northern Illinois University’s Northern Now magazine is now available online and through the Northern Now mobile app and is being distributed to mailboxes across the country.
In addition to its popular “Northern Notes” alumni news section, the spring 2014 edition highlights NIU President Doug Baker’s plans for achieving student career success, details alumnus Glenn Schneider’s journey to the Helm of Discover Financial Services and examines NIU’s leadership in the Petunia Genome Project.
The current issue also profiles the NIU Foundation Award recipients, takes a look inside Huskie athletics—including Jordan Lynch’s highest-ever MAC Heisman finish—and profiles NIU Alumni Association travel opportunities.
The Northern Now is published by NIU with additional financial support from the NIU Foundation. The magazine is published quarterly in fall, winter, spring and summer.
