The NIU Employees Federal Credit Union is the local, cooperative financial institution owned and controlled by its more than 2,500 members.
Whether as a board director or as a committee member, opportunities to help and strengthen the credit union are available.
Two board positions are open for election this year while dedicated members are needed to help serve on various committees. Serving on a committee provides member support for the credit union, with individuals putting in only an hour to two of service of their time per month.
Applications for director positions, committees and general volunteering are now available online or from staff at the credit union, 817 W. Lincoln Hwy.
