Since fall 2011, the Women’s Resource Center has provided an opportunity for NIU students to be empowered beyond the classroom through the Clothing EXPO program.
The Clothing EXPO has always been inclusive and is not gender-specific. Therefore, all NIU students are encouraged to attend.
Students are welcome to choose from a variety of free, gently used everyday wear and professional attire. Clothing will range from jackets, shoes, suits, pants, dresses, jewelry and more.
This opportunity will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the Holmes Student Center Glass Gallery lounge. Students will receive 30 minutes of early entrance to the Clothing EXPO when they attend the “Dress for Success” program, which begins at 1:30 p.m. in the HSC Capitol Room that day.
Visitors should be sure to stop by the NIU Alumna Le Ann Parks’ Little In the Middle section to pick up a pair of brand new black business pants; sizes are limited.
