Deadline is Feb. 1 to apply for SPS scholarship

The deadline to apply for the Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) Scholarship Fund is Saturday, Feb. 1.

Applications are available online.

The SPS Scholarship Fund rewards the talents and achievements of the children and grandchildren of Supportive Professional Staff employees at NIU through financial support.

A scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a full-time, degree-seeking student pursing an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree at NIU for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The scholarship has been funded through donations made by staff, annuitants and friends of the university.
