NIU welcomed Douglas D. Baker last summer as the university’s 12th president.

Since then, the NIU community has enjoyed getting to know President Baker and First Lady Dana Stover.

This spring and summer, President Baker will hit the road to get acquainted with NIU alumni and friends across the nation.

He will share his strategic vision for the university, including the important role alumni can play in ensuring Student Career Success. Visitors also will learn more about his vision and the pillars of his administration.

Alumni will join President Baker at exciting events across the country, including a reception in San Francisco’s historic Ghirardelli Square and a tour of the Victory Ship in Tampa, one of only four fully operational World War II ships in the United States.
