Northern Illinois University head volleyball coach Ray Gooden signed four players Monday to National Letters of Intent, as Anna Brereton (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie HS), Chandler Kinley (Lexington, Ky./Lafayette HS), Taylor Krage (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North HS) and Shelby Seurer (Delano, Minn/Delano HS) will join the team in 2014.

The Huskies filled each of the four positions with this most recent group of signees, which collectively feature numerous all-area and all-state honors along with several state finals appearances.

“The starting base of this group is very solid,” Gooden said. “The ceiling for these guys is unlimited. We have players with outstanding levels of experience and success. We’re excited about the talent of this group and their potential. They all come in with strong resumes.”

Each of the four players hail from different states.

While the Huskies inked one from within the Illinois borders (Krage), they also grabbed one player each from Wisconsin (Brereton), Minnesota (Seurer) and Kentucky (Kinley).
