The deadline for applications for the Multicultural Curriculum Transformation Institute has been extended to Friday, Jan. 25.
Information about applications for the institute is available online. Applications should be submitted electronically to mcti@niu.edu.
The 2013 institute, organized by the Committee on Multicultural Curriculum Transformation and sponsored by the Provost’s Office, will take place from May 13 to May 17 at the Holmes Student Center.
Qualified faculty and instructional staff are encouraged to apply. Individuals selected will receive a $1,000 stipend after they have demonstrated that they have transformed a course. Faculty and staff on 12-month contracts can participate in the institute, but are not eligible for the stipend.
