The concert features guest performers Los Rayitos del Sol. This young people’s dance group is sponsored by Conexión Comunidad, the organization selected as the beneficiary for the concert.

Members of Bread & Roses use their voices to inspire and delight, delivering messages of peace, justice, women’s empowerment and acceptance for all. They put our words into action by donating the proceeds from concerts to local organizations serving people in need.

The concert celebrates this winter holiday season with a wide variety of lively and lovely music accompanied by instrumental musicians including bass and handbells; more than half of the songs are a cappella.

All are welcome; a free-will donation will be gratefully accepted at the door, and a reception follows the concert.

Conexión Comunidad, a DeKalb county not-for-profit organization, serves more than 500 clients a year.

It provides information, education, resources, and services to the Latino(a) community and promotes Latino(a) heritage, community awareness, inter-cultural understanding, and leadership development for adults and children. The organization eceives no federal or state support, and more than 80 percent of its revenues come from contributions and foundational support for its classes, services and advocacy activities.
