Provost Raymond W. Alden
NIU has completed the first three years of the implementation of the Great Journeys Strategic Plan.
Provost Raymond W. Alden has issued a call for proposals to be considered for implementation in FY12 and beyond.
Two types of proposals are being sought:
- Continuation of previously funded initiatives.
- New initiatives that will function as demonstration projects.
Both continuation and new proposals submitted for consideration must indicate and explicitly address (and elaborate upon) one or more of these university goals and imperatives:
- Vision 2020 Goals
- NIU Strategic Imperatives
- College-level Goals
- Diversity of the University Community
All proposals should be submitted electronically to Deputy Provost Earl “Gip” Seaver (eseaver@niu.edu) no later than Monday, Nov. 7.
