Interested in pursuing a career in student affairs? October is Careers in Student Affairs Month.
NIU’s Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management will host a panel discussion Wednesday, Oct. 19, to offer insight from current professionals on how to start a career in the profession. Audience members also are encouraged to ask questions about what it means to work in the field.
The panel discussion is scheduled from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Altgeld Hall Room 315.
Students wishing to attend the panel should RSVP with Joe Hartsoe at jhartsoe1@niu.edu on or before Monday, Oct. 17.
Later this month, during the last week of October, interested students will be matched with professionals to experience “first-hand” what it means to be in the field of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management.
