Business students lead in CTP exam pass rate

September 23, 2010

NIU College of Business students who sat for the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) exam in the summer of 2010 lead the exam’s pass rate.

Of 40 participating universities, only five universities had a total of 12 students pass the CTP exam. NIU business students accounted for seven of the total — more than 58 percent.

Congratulations to Melissa Araszewski, Nelijan Dimashi, Tarek I. Karram, Jason T. Kotz, Kevin Michael Kurtis, Joseph E. Petitti and Ron Michael Williams.

The CTP credential is widely regarded by treasury and finance professionals as one of the leading credentials in the field. NIU has outperformed other universities on the exam over the last five consecutive exam cycles.

NIU was selected by the Association for Financial Professionals as one of the original 10 universities in the nation to participate in the Certified Treasury Management (CTM) program.
