China’s Golden Dragon Acrobats set to perform two shows Dec. 4 at NIU Conovcation Center

Chinese Golden Dragon AcrobatsChina’s Golden Dragon Acrobats are set to dazzle audiences of all ages Saturday, Dec. 4, at the NIU Convocation Center.

Presenting two shows of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty, the Golden Dragons will take the stage at 2 and 7 p.m.

Tickets

Tickets for the Golden Dragon Acrobats are set at a family-friendly $29 for adults and $12 for young adults and children (ages 18 and younger).

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, Sept. 17.

Tickets can be purchased at the NIU Convocation Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

NIU student tickets are $12 with a valid NIU OneCard (limit two) and can be purchased at the Convocation Center, located at 1525 W. Lincoln Hwy. in DeKalb.

Golden Dragon Acrobats

Direct from Hebei, China, the Golden Dragon Acrobats are the oldest touring company of Chinese acrobats active today. Performing in all 50 states and an additional 65 countries, the Golden Dragon Acrobats have wowed audiences worldwide. In November 2005, the Golden Dragon Acrobats were nominated for two prestigious New York Drama Desk awards for their Broadway production.

Combining acrobatics, dance and theater, the Golden Dragon Acrobats’ show is well known for its exciting stunts, thrilling choreography and beautiful costumes. Deeply rooted in tradition, the show combines contemporary and ancient Chinese music.
